Reservations, Collection & Cancellation Policies

The Slaton Harvey House Bed & Breakfast is an intimate, historic property with five guest rooms. We strive to make each guest experience unique and meaningful with personal service and a made-to-order hot breakfast. 


We require advanced payment of (1) one night’s stay plus tax and a valid credit card is taken to confirm your reservation. The balance is charged (14) fourteen days prior to arrival date.


A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when booking more than one room, and for some holidays & special event weekends. 

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special events.

CANCELLATIONS


As a small, non-profit operation, we can’t allow full refunds on cancellations shorter than fourteen days before arrival. 


If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Your deposit will be refunded less a $30 processing fee per room.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation with less than fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. In certain extenuating instances, we may offer credit for a future stay at the Slaton Harvey House. 

All reservations made through third party websites are non- refundable from the time of booking.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Only registered guests have the use of the property. Arrangements must be made in advance for additional visitors. Charges may apply.

We do offer whole-house bookings for group events. They require a twenty-five percent non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Remaining balance is charged (45) forty-five days prior to date of arrival. The full amount of the booking is non-refundable on cancellations made less than (45) forty-five days prior to arrival date.

-NO SMOKING inside the building. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.

-NO PETS. We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM

Damages: Delayed or amended charges. A charge will be applied to the value of repairs required for damages to linens, fittings and furnishings which are found in bedrooms subsequent to a guest’s departure. If smoking or pets is/are detected in bedrooms then a full night's charge will automatically be made. Smoking and the use of candles and/or incense in guest rooms is strictly prohibited.

AUTO-COLLECT

A deposit for the first night's stay is collected at the time of purchase. Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.



CHILDREN & PETS

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Children age 5 and under stay free. Pets are not allowed.



CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
